97 outback exahust inlet size?

Anyone know what the size is? I keep seeing a few sizes.. 2 inches and then I see 2 1/2"

It's 1.875" now I gotta see what is what on here.. this magnaflow has a pretty large tip and I noticed part of the body is going to be in the way when I have to move the muffler a bit forward only way I can see is tilting it down a bit.. How should I go about that?

I'm not sure what exactly you are asking in the 2nd post, but if you are having fitment issues but don't want to replace the complete catback, I'd suggest having a shop bend a short section of pipe and make an axle back with your muffler. That may be easier than trying to make the stock pipe work.
