the reason why i'm asking is because i aquired a full stock turbo kit from a wrx (for a paint job) which uses a top feed injectors. i've only seen one for the sti's but i don't think the ej25de shares the same fuel rail

There is no such thing as a EJ25DE.. i think your getting caught in the JDM importer lingo.. these guys are addicted to Nissan motors since they bring in such high $$.

EJ25D is the Phase 1 DOHC 2.5 ltr motor.

Anyways..

The answer is nope..

EJ25D (DOHC non-turbo 96-99 legacy) fuel rails take side feed injectors. They are larger then later generation subaru injectors.

EJ251 (SOHC non-turbo 00-04 legacy) can use WRX injectors since they are top feed but need an adapter to make then sit properly.

...

If you acquire WRX heads you can use a WRX intake manifold and this would allow you to run WRX style injectors..

Its work but it will work :-D

The 07+ EJ255/7 uses top feed injectors, but I believe the injectors sit in the TGV housings (as they did on the 04-06 turbo engines) so you would have to use a setup that uses that same intake manifold/TGV housing.

Thanks for the replies and clearing the engine code. Yeah it was ebay that i keep seeing jdm legacy ej25de engines

I'm going with the sti yellow top sidefeed injectors then. Less work and less cost
