Time for a new oxygen sensor I guess

And I think my oxygen sensor is finally slowly going out.. for almost 2 months it's been fine.. but after I did a ECu reset after putting on a new muffler (magnaflow) it's sometimes stumbles from idle to about 2500.

I was looking at the voltages at idle it's back and forth but last time I check with my o-scope I can't remember how fast it was reacting.

Should I use a wrench or a socket for the oxygen sensor?

can't really uses a socket because of the length of it and the wires. best thing to use would probably be a flarenut wrench or just a box end wrench.

they also make sockets that have a 1/4" slit in them So you can put the wires out the side. I have one, but I'd say 90% of the o2 sensors I've pulled have been so seized I have to take them out with a vise grip or welding something to them.

The O2 should switch at least 2 Hz when cruising, and 1 Hz at hot idle.

I think I'm in the same boat for the o2 sensor, I've been getting a cel for it daily and last week finally discovered why. There are no wires connected to it, and theres an open connector on the right of the bell housing, right by the speedo cable, that points towards the exhaust and has three pins in it. Oddly enough, the car runs fine even though it obviously can't communicate with the sensor, the only issue I get is a random power loss after hard right corners. This is said connector.
