Grill logo dimensions

Just curious, how big in inches is the Subaru oval that goes on the grill?

Here's the deal:
I cut up my old grill to do a custom thing with lights. Eventually it shattered. I ordered a replacement grill for 50 bucks. It's ABS plastic gloss black, no chrome accents. I've had it for awhile, the fit is nice and the grill clips fit correctly.

It was missing the emblem. I ordered one, a pink I on eBay it came from Hong Kong and it was too big. I asked the guy over email and he said it was standard size, he wouldn't take it back.

I measured my oval spot and it's 3 inches wide exactly and just a hair under 3 inches in height. Of course I lost the emblem so I couldn't measure it. So I was curious.

I have some emblems, they are L7 emblems that are direct replacements for the BD or BE, whatever model year, Look for my FS.

PM me I have the exact sizing, but I need to look for the blueprint artwork on my backup cd.
