Made a slow uturn at an intersection and heard some knocking in the wheel well, and now when ever I brake I hear a little grinding when Im almost to a stop.....it was a very slow uturn also. Any one have an idea of what I messed up?

Rubbing tires? What size tires are you running on the new wheels? Also are you sure the sound is coming from the wheel well and not he break/ bearing area.

running 225/45/17's

It was just a knocking sound once the wheel got to where it couldnt turn anymore. Obviously when i heard the sound I stopped turning. Never had any problems with uturns before. Once I got home I took the wheel off, and checked the brakes and took the pad out, everything seemed fine. Put it all back together, and drove it again, and it barely made the vibration or grinding. Maybe I just stressed it out too much at once?

It could have been from the bearing area, dont know much about all that so dont know what to look for if theres anything out of place

if it happens only when brakes applied maybe you managed to get something between brake pad and rotor and embed it in a pad?

Cv joint I believe. Mine started like that too, with the wheel turned all the way it was like a pop pop pop /knocking sound. Check to see if the boot is torn, and if its dirty. Also if the boot is torn you will have a lot of grease on the inside of the wheel. Check that.
