Hi guys, I was wondering if a Jdm rear bumper will match up flush with the usdm rear quarter panel?

I have a BH 00 legacy wagon. I am thinking of getting a jdm rear bumper. Only if it will match up flush with the rear end of the car though.

Any help is appreciated. Thank You!! Have a great diizay!!

PM Airgne, I believe he switched rear bumpers on a BE and it doesn't quite match up.

Someone in Canada also did it (he has a maroon BE) and did it but got the dealership to modify his rear quarter panel to make it match.

Thanks Huffer. I have a BH though. I guess i'll have to do some trial and error on this one. I'll start with the JDM front first.

Thank You!

If you get detailed enough pictures, you should be able to take some measurements and see. Personally I've never noticed any differences but then I'm not staring that hard.

I'll try and get some pics.

On another note. Are you debt free? I took a Ramsey class, it's the best guide I got for tackling debt and investing. Although I'm still working on baby step 1. hahaha

I just wanted to get my parts for my car really quick, then i'll start paying everything off and save 3-6 months of living, then invest!!!

Yep, wife and I have been debt free since before we got married - going on 7 years now. Have done everything we wanted to do without credit cards - got married, traveled internationally, bought a house, had a baby, and now saving and investing.

Normally I'm all for modding cars with a passion - but if you want to dump the debt and really start living - do it now. Don't buy anymore car parts. Save it up, invest and remember the Ben vs. Arthur chart. Do it early and you'll be a multi-millionaire.

If you need more info, I'm actually an FPU coordinator.

Yep, we buy everything with cash. The house is a loan - but we were able to put 20% down and locked in a good rate. We had to find a manual underwriter (wasn't hard when you look hard enough) because our credit (ie. debt) scores are non-existent. In fact, I had one major bank say we'd never get a loan. I called them back up a month later when we closed on a house and told the loans officer she'd missed out on a nice commission.

Stay motivated - you'll outrun the cheetah in no time. :)
