oil leak

i'm leaking oil, but my dipstick always says it is full. There is usually a bit of oil on the bottom of my oil filter like it is dripping down there, also on the flat case behind the oil filter (not sure what it is called)..it's flat, has a bunch of holes in it..sorry. and when i did my tune up today some of my spark plugs had oil on them. could this be a valve cover gasket? what does anyone think? thanks

Oil in the plugs usually means valve cover gaskets.. majority of the time its the passenger side head that's the issue.

Cheap and fairly easy to replace. When you change your valve cover gasket you can also change the seals around each spark plug and if your doing the driver side as well you can change the oil filler neck gasket and the other spark plug seals.

It sounds like your gaskets are just starting to deteriate.

I had my passenger side gasket crack in 5 places which resulted in losing 1-2 liters of oil a day.. it would drip onto my exhaust manifold create 2 puddles after it dripped off the manifold and then whatever was left on the manifold would burn off in a glorious smoke show :-D

Gaskets and seals are cheap.. Buy OEM!!! you will be happier in the end.
