Coolant leak??

Today I noticed a hot burning smell coming from my engine so I pulled over and saw that there was a puddle of coolant on top of my motor underneath the intake manifold.. It seems to only leak when my car is warmed up. It drips underneath my car but after the car cools down it stops leaking.. Could it be something to do with the thermostat?

Thermostat is under the engine (bottom of car) so that would not be the problem. See if a hose is loose on the radiator or the enine coolant line might be leaking some where.

but it leaks a lot from the bottom when the engine is warmed up. The puddle on top of the engine isn't enough to run down and drip off I don't believe but I could be wrong.

disregard this, I found the problem. Just an old hidden hose underneath the intake manifold that needs replacing.
