IMHO, black wheels are lame. Do something that draws attention to the color of your car, and makes it pop.

I was thinking either Gold or White, or going with a wheel that is gold and has a chrome lip

Given that your car is pretty stock, I'd just go with hyper silver. Darker colors are more aggressive and you'd really need the car to be more aggressive to pull it off. Lowered, tinted, mean headlights etc. It's a whole-look thing.

I agree 100% here. Lower it, and tint it and you're wheel choices will blossom.

I can only do one thing at a time, but lowering it is a yes, if a can get a set of H&R springs and different struts and shocks. What kind of headlights, projectors or more down the line like painting the inside of the head light black. Plus IMO i like to keep my cars clean as possibly when it comes to modding.

I was out yesterday night and saw a light green BE with gold rims on it and it look really nice. Could not tell if they were painted or powder coated. Did not have my camera with me or pics would be up.

i think a dark gunmetal color would look sweet.
PS: welcome to the site, nice to see someone so close on here . There's a few others from williamsport that pop in once in awhile as well.

So best bet would have them painted or powder coated. I now painting them is cheaper, but would it hold up in the winter? What color/ shade of gold should I go with?

Mine were painted over 3 years ago with just paint purchased at lowes and then clear coated. They have survived the PA winters. I've been looking at redoing them with the Grimmspeed paint.

Depends, you want to continue a color theme or stand out?

My issue is the silver looks to bland to me. They seem to work well with non silver cars. I want a color that at least has a little bit of a pop to them.
I have seen gold repaints of the 6 spoke as well and it seems to work well for darker color cars. I can't find any pics (after a quick goggle search) of gold RS 6 spokes on silver cars so I have nothing to base gold on (Can someone photoshop it to give me an idea? Plz?). I thought my gold snowflakes looked amazing with the silver car.
I've never been a fan of black rims. They blend with the tires too much.
I'm up for toying with with a 2 tone (would still like to see a photoshop version first)

Silver and gold only really work well if the silver is superclean and polished - same with the gold.
I really like the idea of a flat white with the silver car - you have a lot of black also so it's not really a totally silver car. If you color matched the body panels etc then a gold might work.
Here's gold wheels on silver car:

Thanks Huffer
I think I might just keep it the gold going.
I was just worried about the amount of gold. The snowflakes were big (in terms of what you can see) and had a lot, looked nice. 6 spokes are a bit smaller in what you see.
I think I might copy the STi up there with a black cap in the center.

I had a friend do a photoshop for me. Its not the best (not really gold) but it helps me see the change before the change.
