I'n running 35mm offset on my Outback, and they stick out about half an inch. Gonna have to get the rear arches flared to stop the scrubbage!

If they're just 15's, then they should fit, but it will put extra strain on the wheel bearing. Also, wheel spacers won't fit as it'll just push the wheel out further!

The 35mm offset means the wheel will stick out about 17mm further than standard (WRX are -ET52 iirc). So if they do catch, it'll be on the outer arch and not on the strut body.

Hmmn. I fitted a friend's 17x9 +35 and they fit flush like an expensive toilet ....after I stuck a maglite in my fenders and rolled the car backwards a little, of course. :lol:

I have a set of Chevy Beretta GT wheels that are 15x7 +40 according to my measurements and they sit fairly flush with no protrusions. I can't imagine that -.5" and +5mm would make that much of a difference.

Where is that offset calculator?!

BTW - Are Subaru wheel bearings really so delicate that increased offset without compensated backspacing will cause them to implode, or is that just an excuse used by WRX guys to not roll their fenders?

They wont implode, but it will add extra stress and decrease the life of them.
