Hi all, just over this weekend did some much needed front end cosmetic improvements! I painted the lower ugly sections of the pre-03 GT bumper with black bumper/trim paint. Matty2Hotty suggested it to me and I did a Photoshop of it first and it looked really good so I did it. While I was at it I took my fogs apart and painted the entire reflector with black paint. They were in rough shape so I figured I have nothing to lose. Now the whole bumper looks hundreds of times better than it did before. Also painted the grill to match. See for yourself in the pics.

All in all, took about 6 hours of work to get a nice result.

Your car looks super clean, I love the stance with the H&R's. How is the ride quality?

Thanks everyone! The ride quality is good actually. It's a lot stiffer than stock and potholes and bumps may be a bit uncomfortable to some but I love it...it's exactly what I was looking for in terms of stance and handling.

New stereo and battery connections. Nothing major. Also upgraded the starter power wire, engine to chassis grounds and battery grounds to 4 AWG. Everything was upgraded to the Stinger HPM Series connections.

Your car is beautiful!

You kinda started what I have envisioned for my car. Im planning to go completely monochrome on the outside. Only shades of silver, with my JDM taillights being the only color on the car during the day, and those are even dark. But during the night, it's going to burst with color.

And those rims are absolutely godly. I want those exact rims.

Sweet man, glad to be of some inspiration! However, TSW no longer makes this wheel in gold, they discontinued them right after I bought them. If you act quick you may find some vendors with some leftover stock. Stay away from wheelfire though, these guys are morons.

Cheers.

Very nice and clean looking. Multispokes on a legacy is the best option in my opinion

Here are the updated pics. Not great quality, haven't had time to take any good shots lately, but these are camera phone pics while I was doing the work so it's all I got for now. Enjoy.

I plan on doing a retrofit with my headlights once I get the extra cash for the kit from retrofitsource

Make sure you get the FX-R kit, if you buy the entry level MH1 or Mini D2S you'll be disappointed. It's worth the extra money...if you can, buy the OEM kit, it's fantastic.

NICE! Another one who retrofitted FXR!

I miss my 02 Outback so much!

love the look!

stoggy

Yes the FX-R is a great projector. I tried stuffing TL's in there but it didn't look good with the projector showing and it requires a lot of modification to the reflector and the housing itself, sacrificing integrity. I like your E55 shrouds, nice and clean.

I'm going to redo this one in a bit before winter to make it more cosmetically appealing.

I was leaning towards the Morimoto Mini H1 because, well I have 2nd gen and that FX-R projector looks huge and probably wont fit without a decent amount of surgery. I think anything would be an upgrade from these stock lights anyway. haha
