a new pennsylvania guy and his subaru!

hello there,

a first-time subaru owner, and i can already tell that it will be the first of many. a few weeks ago i purchased a black '97 legacy 2.5gt in NY and have fallen in love. got a great deal on it, on account of she needs some TLC. the 2.5 was making a terrible racket, i theorize it's a bad lifter. last week, my best friend and i dropped a 2.2 into my subie [which i named norah]. everything went well for the most part [considering we're two guys who have never done a job that involved on our own], until we finished. i explain this in detail in a post in Swaps n Conversions, but basically the crankshaft is frozen for some reason and won't turn. we'll have to dive back in soon and find out what the problem is.

but i thought i'd say hello. i can't wait to get the subie on the road.
and serious kudos to the moderators and members here; this site contains a plethora of great information. looking forward to being a part of it!

btw, i'm trying to attach a photo but it won't work for me? i'm sure i'll figure it out soon enough.
