View Full Version : Can anyone tell me what the pitch stop bolt size is?

That one with the arrow on it.
Apparently, when the shop did my clutch a long time ago, they forgot to put it back in and I've been driving with a bad pitch stopper.

It should be a 14mm socket head on the bolt itself, but for sizing just get a general hardware bolt (galvanized steel) with a lock nut from the hardware store.
I think it's a 10mm bolt with a 14mm head.

Thanks Rodger! I would've put anything in there, but it looks like the stopper itself is threaded. I'll pop down to the store and try it out.

Forgot - get some washers too. The stopper probably looks threaded because of the back/forth motion that causes the plastic/rubber to get indents from the bolt.

Yes, I did washers. I noticed that too - but it's not actually threaded.
When I reattached it properly, everything felt a lot better. I can't believe I drove with it like that for so long!
