So, the Stromung Mid-pipe just came in today. I was thinking about changing the O2 sensors while I was there. I have a Gen 2, EJ22 (single port) California Spec with about 200k. (has the second O2 sensor after the second cat.) The O2 sensors have never been changed. What brands would you folks suggest? I have seen the Denso and Bosch online.... But was thinking about the Factory OE. The price is a little higher for the OE, but I would like as few CEL as possible. Lol I guess... For that matter, would you folks suggest changing them? They were not giving me trouble before the mid-pipe leak.... Thanks for the help.

I am pretty sure that the OEM sensor is a denso... Someone else will chime in to verify but I am pretty sure.

Yes Denso is OEM. I'd go complete plug and play, not a big fan of the ones you have to wire in place. Rockauto.com

You can also catch them on Ebay for a steal if you keep your eyes open... sometimes as low as $50 new... for the plug and play ones.

Go plug n play or nothing.
However - some of the CARB spec'd cars required an O2 extension harness that is extremely hard to come by.

Wow. It was kinda epic today. So, here is what I found. Yes, the OE is Denso. They rock, and plug and play rocks. Lol on my car... (Gen 2, EJ22, Single port, Calf. Spec). The front sensor is an AIR/FUEL sensor, and the second is an Oxygen Sensor. I was shocked... Then realized it was going to cost me $45 more.... Lol oh well. My CEL is gone with the Stromung pipe... But god it's loud.... Haha I'll figure that out better soon.

Rockauto has them for my car for around $55 for Denso.

Yeah.... it was my own fault. I didn't plan ahead and had to pay for quick and easy, picking them up that day. Better planning could have fixed that. lol Oh well. But, 300+ miles and the gas mileage is better (shocker) and still no CEL.
