Carbon Fiber hood

im looking for a carbon fiber hood and i found only 2 diff styles from andysautosport.com and was wondering where to get some nice ones with diff styles

Sorry to say but you wont find very much available for the BD/K/G chassis in carbon fiber.

Scoop and Scoopless hoods seem to be the only ones made by Seibon/Vis/Carbon FX.

Anything that has more style then the OEM look is custom. I've spent years trying to find something with a vent or NACA ducts but unfortunately no dice.

Good luck and if you do come across something interesting post it up.

Also hoods like this are OEM style carbon hoods with impreza vents installed afterwards

Wow.. they finally made a real hood.. I've never seen this before.

I've heard good and bad things from Andys auto but go for it.

just beware that you may need to get a set of hood pins. the vis carbon fiber hood i have on my impreza and the one my friend has shake at highway speed

I had a VIS on my Bugeye and it would shake like crazy on the highway. Def invest in a set of hood pins or aero latch's.

VIS uses a fiber glass base with 1, maybe 2 layers of carbon on top of it. If you look at the bottom of the hood youll see what I mean....

also Chuck...what are NACA ducts?
