I found on my local craigslist 5x100 steelies w winter tires w good tread and everything. Good price, they're 5x100 so that's right, but the person said they're off a Caravan(dodge)..will they fit like offset wise and what not as long as they're 5x100 still?

The hub bore might be different, but hell for that price it's worth picking them up just for the tires.

Do you think they would fit? I'm about to go buy them and if they fit, yay for me, if not I'll sell them or he tires for more

Ive used chrysler sebring wheels before on legacys / my moms outback and they work fine. hub center on those were same as subaru but the holes for the lugs are a little bigger. So I just tightened the hell out of the nuts but really should have found some with a bigger seat. If Caravan and sebring are the same, which I bet they are, you should be good.

I went last night and picked them up. Tried the front one on, doesn't clear the brake. Paid 100 so even if I don't use them, tires are in good shape. I'd like to find 14" subaru Steelies that I can mount the tires on though so I can use them.

Darn. I should have asked how big they were before I threw in my 2 cents. Ive had 2 different chrysler wheels but they were both 16s

Is there any way I can get these 14" Steelies to fit on my car so I can use them this winter? They didn't clear the front breaks, not sure about the back. Thanks!

I'm sure a set of spacers would do the trick. Try to figure out how much more clearance you need then find the smallest spacer you can get away with.

Just tried putting one of them on the back and the caliper hits it so it looks like I'd need a decently sized spacer and new studs? I'm still not sure what size spacer would do the trick to get ilthe Steelies to clear the calipers and then idk how it works with new studs and everything. Anyone who has used a bigger spacer than 5-10 mm, little help please

Anything bigger then 5mm would require a longer stud. If you do go for something like a 10-15mm spacer (which I'm guessing would do the trick) and longer studs, you'll need longer open ended lug nuts to fit during "summer mode" unless you want to run the spacers year round.
Honestly, if you cant get away with the 5mm I wouldn't bother unless you're dead set on making them work.

Yeah it doesn't look like a 5mm will make it clear so I'm just going to not run them at all.
Is there any 14" Steelie that will clear my caliper or all 14" will not?

I really don't think so. IIRC you need 15" wheels to clear the brakes on your car. Your best bet for winter wheels would be to find a set of cheap 15" L wheels, or 16" wrx wheels.

Thanks for the help, I have them up for sale so if they sell I'll look for 15's or 16's.
