Hi everyone, Ive recently acquired a new job working at a plastic forming shop. So since day one ive been thinking of making some light pods(or other pods for anything of course.) We can use any plastic that melts, so they will not be very heavy at all. Im going to list some questions and I would like your honest opinions. Now a couple of questions are:
How much would you pay for, and for what car:
Quad lamp rally pod
Dual lamp rally pod
Dual rally pods on the sides of the hood vs the middle
Bumper pods
How much modifications will you be willing to do?
If the pod was universal, how much would you pay for:
Quad lamp rally pod
Dual lamp rally pod
Dual rally pods on the sides of the hood vs the middle
Bumper pods
Would you want a ready built rally pod with all hardware?
Would you like to buy a specific pod for your car, and do all the hole cutting yourself for the lights?
What else would you want to be made (Largest size is 4x4ft i believe)
That is it for now, If I come up with anymore questions I will update this post.
My boss is pretty interested we have been looking at all kinds of plastics to make them out of so they will be strong and light. They will most likely be very round and smooth, because that would make the plastic more rigid once mounted.
I really want to make a prototype for my 97 gt so let me know!
