Well i have a brake light out,and was looking into led bulbs for replacements. Now i found myledshop.com. They seem to have just about every bulb my LGT would need. The question is,which pattern of LED would be good for all my exterior lenses. The only ones that arent getting changed are my HID's in fogs and headlights. Also looking to do the interior bulbs. Any help or actual reviews of this would be great.

They specialize in automotive bulbs, and have a wide variety. They also make recommendations based one use and such. Very good website.

Make sure (and superbrightleds also has a nice little paragraph about this) if you're getting bulbs for turn signals that you get the appropriate resistors for them or you buy new signal flashers that are built for LED bulbs. Otherwise you'll get really rapid blinking because of the lower resistance.

thank you for the imput. Any body else have some recommendations

From what I've found - for your exterior lighting other than your headlights, you'll want SMD type LEDs. These are usually 180degree or the more preferred 360degree lighting. LEDs project light in one linear direction - incandescent bulbs (traditional) use a filament that heats up and produces light in 360degrees. SMD LEDs do the same, just in a different method.

as Huffer mentioned, i would only get the SMD type LEDs

Less put out less light than incandescent bulbs, so you'll need to get led assemblies with a LOT of individual leds on it. It can get pretty expensive.

I get mine from v-leds.com

Got a question. I am thinking about doing L.E.D.s everywhere.

Will my turn signal system go screwy if I replace both front and back turn signals to LEDs and flash faster thinking a bulb is out due to the lower volts/watts?

Not if you use the correct resistors.

What resistors? (and where at?)

Couldn't tell you. I just know that led's draw a lower voltage than traditional bulbs and that in order to run them without fault on your vehicle you'll need resistors in the circuit, for each batch of leds.

www.superbrightleds.com (http://www.superbrightleds.com) sells resistors or you can get a new flasher unit made for LED flasher bulbs.

Superbright l.e.d's is a great link thanks. I recently put turn signal l.e.d.'s in my 95 Legacy. Had the "hyperflashing" so went to NAPA and got a specific l.e.d. 3 prong relay similar to what your stores link that you posted has offered. I have had no issues with the flashing now. Its all good $17 at NAPA
