will an jdm STi style strut bar designed for a BE5, fit a regular BE? is there any differences?

GC8/GF8 strut bar says it fits a BH5 BE5 and imprezza. any complications with the US version BE?

If it fits a BE, then it fits all BE/BHs. However, only some (not all) strut bars that fit imprezas fit BE/BHs.....
