So I have an 05' Legacy, 93K, and today when I was about ready to drive home from work, my battery was dead. There wasn't any lights left on...etc, I had someone jump me and it started right up. I turned it off when I got home and even left it on a trickle charger, but it won't charge, or at least it won't start up. Any suggestions?

How long was the drive home after the jump?
When you tried to start it when you got home... did it try to turn over even once? Did it click?
If you drove more than 20 minutes to get home and it wouldnt start if you turned it off... then it could either be your battery is shot and not being charged by the alternator... or the alternator could be burnt. However I think the alternator will throw a code if it is done.
Was the battery warning light on while you were driving home?
