Part to fix pre 2000 transmissins

I am going to be rebuilding my transmission here in few weeks to months and I know there is an issue with the 5spd have an issue where the transmission will wear prematurely due to a factory defect and with this simple part it fixes the problem. I just can't seem to find it now. I thought it was stickier but apparently I missed it or something. If you know what I am looking for great if not thanks anyway.

I've never heard of such a thing. My 5 Speed has 170k on it and still going strong.

Maybe not I thought it was pre 2000 but either way thanks I may be able to still use it it looks like what I thought it would be.

BTW - the snout kit is to prevent additional wear and improve clutch engagement. Wear on the trans snout is not a factory defect, and wherever you got that information from should be debunked immediately.
