Hello, Im Mark from the Pittsburgh area. I'm not exactly new to Subarus, although my '98 Legacy GT Limited is my 1st Subaru.
I'm currently looking into buying an '07-'10 Forester or Legacy Outback.
I'm also on www.dirtyimpreza.com (http://www.dirtyimpreza.com) as fatkidLGT as well.
I love to drive my Subaru on and off road. It's awesome how much these cars can take.

I sense a contradiction in the force!

I didnt just go buy my leggy yesterday, I have had her for about 3 1/2 years. I also became familiar with them prior to having mine because a few friends of mine had Subarus.
Just because I am still on my 1st subie doesn't by any means make me new to Subarus.
(Not trying to be rude, just clarifying)

Again why do you specifically want 07 and up?
Reliability, family, ?

I want to get on 07+ because I am getting married October 1st and my fiance and I are planing to start a family. Beings that I currently drive a 92 mazda protege that is rotting out (my fiance drives the subie), we need something that is far more safe to put kids in when the time comes. That and I want to make sure we have something with enough cargo room for what ever we need.

2000 - 2004 Legacy Outback is a great alternative to 07+
They have the "reinforced" frame update compared to the the previous generation and you can get one for a steal these days.
But if New means new then i would go for a brand new Outback.. They scream take my kids to the cottage!
