First Subaru, From Oregon City, OR

Hey, I'm Kyle. Just picked up my first Subaru last month and it wasn't such a great start. Its a 99 Legacy GT, had a blown head gasket, transmission was shifting pretty horribly, wheel bearing out, CV axle went out, alternator died, battery quit and the cats went bad as well. About $5000 later, the car is running great. Everything has been rebuilt or replaced, the engine and transmission both have 3 year warranties. Time to have some fun with it!

I have changed a few things since I bought the car and don't have the before pictures. I will be sure and take pictures through any mods to this car.

-New exhaust (glasspack) :-(
-Cone air filter from Spectre
-Lamin-X yellow headlight vinyl
-Tinted lenses in front and rear
Just a few things I have done so far, need to upgrade some things.

Had to try a grill mod, fell in love with all of the others. Not finished though, need to get some mesh in there.

welcome aboard. these guys on the forum are awsome and very helpfull. Oregon City is great for you with mountain tech right there. the yare sort of the subaru guru's and in your city. iam sad to think that ralitek by the air port maybe gone/ being sold. but we do have quite a bit of subaru enthusiasts here in the NW.

Haven't been updating anything here for a while.
Changed my coil for an MSD, NGK wires, NGK Laser Iridium plugs, 02 WRX struts with H&R lowering springs, Kyowa 17's, Borla rep headers and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things.

Pretty happy with the way things are going. Just not liking the black skirts anymore, will get painted over the summer. Tint might be soon, depends on the wife.

I cut my grill out and just haven't finished. Weather in Oregon isn't so great, just need the right day to do it. Thanks, I like the scoop better black as well. I went flat black so it doesn't stand out so much.

Nice car man! What rims are those in the latest pics (gold)? I've got a white 99 GT as well and have been scouting around for some new rim possibilities, and I like the look of those.

EDIT: Whoops just now saw that you said Kyowa's :)

theres a DIY in here for BG5 foglights if u get them, gotta mod the bracket and bumper, but worth the hassle
