Possible Noob Question buuut I cant find anything about it~~

So I've been having problems looking for parts for my car. I have a 2004 legacy, but its the 35th anniverrsary edition. Sooo its a 2004 with a 2003 body style. Im having problems looking for parts because im not 100 percent sure what i should be looking for. Like exhaust for instance, i found a few styles for the 03 that are single tip and then i find one built for my car that has dual tips...yet on my car there is only one tip. Which one should i find parts for or what?

Also another noob question is i read constantly about putting parts from impreza's and other subaru's onto their legacys. How do you know what will fit on your car and what not?

There really shouldn't be any difference between the 03 and 04 bodystyles for any parts that you listed. However, unless you have an engine specific question, this really belongs in the General Forum.

As for the Impreza parts, a lot will fit (engine, drivetrain, suspension) depending on the year. The biggest hitch with parts crossing over to the BE (00-04) chassis is the rear suspension on the BE/BH models is different than any other Subaru, so most full suspensions won't swap. But engine parts are all very similar, and any transmission will work with any engine within the EJ series. That includes the Legacy, Impreza, Forester, and Tribeca. If you have a specific question concerning a part swap, I suggest you search first, because a lot of this stuff has been covered already in the 6 years the forum has been up.
