Tho not Subaru fitment, I thought I'd share anyways. Comments/Questions are welcome. I rebuild a set of wheels almost every month. These were 18x8.5 and 9.5 respectively, and are BMW fitment.

Wheels were pretty rough and half stripped when I got them (no front pics from me, but the owner does have the before) and needed some work.

Only pic I have from when I got them in my possesion:

Stripping:

2 wheels were rough and did require a special "etching/filling" primer. By special, I mean alloy specific.

Wetsanded them and Painted using Dupont Chroma Base and Matrix clear.

And done:

They're owned by a friend who now has them on his SpaceGray Luxury package E36 M3.

Thanks Guys!

Brushable (not the Aerosol) AirCraft Stripper. I like to be able to put layers of it on, and work it manually into areas that the spray might not get into.

The greenish stuff you see in the pics, was a new product I got through our DuPont dealer. I'll try to get you an exact name of it.
I did have to use primer after sanding it down, but just a light coat on the etched/filler ones. The others got an even flat coat.

Then:

-Sealer ( DuPont) inside and out.

-2 coats of color- Inside and out.

-2 coats of clear(with flex additive for an easy flow out the gun.) on the exterior, 1 on the inside.
