In reading the comments... it seems like there might have been a levy that broke creating the emergency situation...

And if they made it they would have been labeled badasses. I doubt many people would attempt what they did.

They probably could have made it if their intake stayed above water.. looks like a good attempt. Not many people would even bother trying.. at least they gave it a go!

I like the commentary, especially since he calls them idiots after mentioning that their "exhaust" was under water!

Not sure the intake was the problem. I think they just got too deep and started floating the truck.

I agree, just the comments made me laugh.

Interesting.. yeah, i wouldnt know much about deep water submerging of vehicles.. LOL. Just gave a guess that if they had snorkles on the trucks.. they may have kept going. Then again.. floating off in the water never helps! HAHA.

you know when i was in service we supported a lot of missions and most of the drivers wouldnt care how deep it is simply because when this happends they call us and we come rescue them. although most of the stuff we did was training mission support not emergency situations. i feel bad for those guys as well as for mechanics who had to deal with this crap afterwards. on a side note that was pretty badass but you have to know when to stop going forward if level of water gets too high.
