Overheating problems with this setup?

I am just curious if I were to mount my hella 500's in this location if you think they'd block too much air from entering the radiator. They would have a near solid plate of aluminum behind them as well (though I will be cutting some holes into it to lighten the overall assembly):

It might raise your temp a bit, but nothing substantial

I don't think it will at all. A guy put Hella's inside the grille of his 92 Turbo and his temp isn't effected at all.

I doubt it...people stick intercoolers in front at that location all the time, and they don't affect the radiator temp. The EJ22 really doesn't have overheating problems, Subaru put an excellent cooling system in it, more than was necessary.

most cars draw alot of air from under the car using a plastic airdamn at the bottom of the radiator... i can't remember if the legacy's have the same piece or not though.

i don't think you'll have overheating problems though with that setup.

You mean the lip spoiler? GTs have that.
