Legacy L curb weight?

What does a 97' legacy L sedan weigh? Google is failing me.

97 - "Curb Weight- sedans: 2885-3160" should be on the lower end while the GT and LSi is on the higher end...

Yeah, thats the same range I kept finding, I was just wondering how it compared to a GC coupe...for a reference on a ballpark feel of HP vs. Weight when I put a 2.5 in...because the GT I had feels WAY slower than our GC 2.5 coupe....

edit: I can't find it, but there's a list on Nasioc with a detail breakdown, by model, model year, trim, etc that'll give you a more accurate answer.

Looks like yours is 2885 with the manual, 2965 with the automatic. That might be dry weight, I'm not sure. Fascinating list though.

Well I know the 3.90 in the L is gonna be less "peppy" feeling that the 4.11s in an RS. And it's 98" dohc going in the L vs a 99' Sohc.

I had an eg33 lined up but that fell through, that's still the most ideal option as far as NA goes.

The 3.9 is just fine in a 2.2L, I'm sure it'll be good with a 2.5L especially if you give it some mods.

I'm not about to swap tranny/diffs in this car, so it's keeping the 3.90. I'm not to concerned about power, I was more just interested in how it will compare.

i really like the EG33. its a damn good motor, we have built them to 600HP before.
but in terms of a N/A motor i still like the 2.5
you can make well over 200HP with it.
