was wondering about ej20t heads, turbo ect... onto a ej25 bottom end? will they fit ?? i know it would only hold low boost but it would be fun any help?

they should all bolt up. the turbo you would need to replace the engine cross member with the turbo one to clear the up pipe.
Why go with the 2.0 heads though? they arent any mroe capable of boost than your factory ones. the real differences lay in the bottom end of the engine. We are running 5psi on a 2.2n/a engine right now, and it runs pretty good. But even with low boost you cant expect these motors to last nearly as long as one designed for the turbo would.

from what i've heard from a VERY knowledgable person....
the DOHC EJ25 heads like i have flow as well as V7 STi.
i'm pretty sure it was V7.
anyhow, a good P&P and new components will yeild more than just swapping the heads. and you'll flow like a champ too.
thats the best route i think.

And, to get the turbo and stuff to work youd still have to do all the wiring that would usually be required for a full motor swap. There would be zero purpose to keeping the EJ25 bottom end. Grab an EJ20G, fully sealed deck like the EJ22 and you can get them for a song (relative) if you know the right places.
pssst, I do. I could probably land a full motor and tranny and wiring harness for you through some guys i recently met through the shop ;)

Oh come on. I don't need temptation like that, I've got enough "projects" going on right now........
