Yup, fronts on average are around $300-$400 depending on condition, rears are around $200.

Thats a great deal. Make sure you have rims that can accommodate them.

I am pretty sure that the 2011 WRX gunmetals should...

At least I hope :)

I'm 99.9% positive they will. Gratz on a sweet set of brakes on the low! That's a steal of a deal!

Personally, I wouldn't. But if you have big plans you'll need big brakes. ;)

Its going on the WRX wagon... which is already stage 2.

It is 65% for looks and 35% for the braking ability :)

Just bought some EBC Ultimaxx Blackdash slotted rotors and HPS pads to go along with them.

4/2 pots with stainless lines all the way around and a brake cylinder stiffiner... not much more I can do besides true brembos or wildwoods.

There is no reason to go over the 07 Wrx 4 pots. The 13" rotors would be overkill unless you are in the 500 hp mark.

Yea I was a little confused when ordering the rotors because it looked like there were two different ones... a 10.9 diameter and a 11.6 diameter.

I just went with my gut and got the 11.6 ones.

What a better way to spend a lunch hour then cleaning off a new set of 4/2 pots :)

I am going to repaint them before installing them:

So I am going to be sandblasting them tonight with a fellow i-club member who has the equipment. I got a 10mm x 1.0 bolt with two washers to put in the banjo bolt hole and I will be taping over the pistons.

Anybody have any words of wisdom for me?

I was also going to tape over the bleeder screw hole.

FYI I am going to replace all of the dust boots on the pistons. Some are ok and some are really hard and grungy... and for $25 for the front and $25 for the rear, I figured I would replace them all after the refinishing was done.

The rebuild kit comes with new inner seals for the pistons too but being how the calipers are off of a 2007 with about 60k miles on it... I didnt feel like they really warranted new inner seals.

I also ordered speed bleeders all the way around.

What do you guys think?

If you use tape, your going to need more then one layer,
Two or three layers!
(I blast almost every day)

Just got done sandblasting the 4/2 pots with the help of an i-club member.

Now I just need to figure out how to paint them without taking them apart or painting the 4 bolts that hold them together... Basically I need to "tape off" the bolt heads so that they dont get painted red with the rest of the caliper.

Anybody have any ideas?
