Are the top ones considered overlays from factory? I know how to remove the needles and stuff like that but what to do next? I just received the bottom ones and have no idea how to install. Are the factory ones deleted or do I need to make a plexiglass background? Not a clue and I want to know before I do this. They are going to look great though.. lol

i have different overlays and have just thrown them over the existing guage.
compare the two together, if the new ones are thinner and flexible you need to put them over the stock guages.

Ok then that would look like shit. Going to cut some plexiglass then. The stock green and the overlay red would look almost purple in the dark and be very dull light. Thanks for the info.

Yea thanks I was making it harder than it needed to be. I found using a dremel and sanding wheel works good too. :)

When I sanded my guages, I used a dremel tool. The only thing you need to watch out for with that is not sanding too close to the trip odometer gears that turn the numbers.

They used to be sold on eBay. I don't think they are anymore, you might find a used set or 2 around though.

I found a place on ebay that is willing to make me a set at no charge in exchange for using an extra set of faces I had as a template, so these should be available again soon. It appears that they can do any kind of custom color/markings/fonts, etc.

Cool. I ran a set of these in my old 95 brighton, was a neat touch to the car.
