KYB AGX Strust, STi05 Springs and H&R lowering Springs black

Hi,

Right now I am very confused with the suspension parts. I've just bought KYB-AGX struts that came with 05 STi Springs and I also bought another set of H&R springs. Once all has arrived, I tried playing around with what I had. The front spring seat (top perch) came with the STi springs and seems to fit, but then I tried it on the H&R springs and they don't fit. The perch is smaller. but from what the seller told me, the H&R springs fit stock struts and stuff. Because I don't what to touch much of the stockers, I decided to go to the dealer and order another set of front top perches and rubber seats for the springs. Right now I'm hoping the OEM ones I've ordered will fit the H&R springs. I'm also concerned about the rear strut mount. I was told that the STi springs have a different sized strut mounts than the stock ones. I'm all confused. Can someone please clarify before I continue to buy the other parts? I really don't want to remove my stock suspensions yet, due to street parking in Brooklyn, NY. I kind of want the new sets ready, so it'll be a quick change.

Basically in order to use the H&R springs as a full bolt on mod you'll need an extra set of front and rear perches specific to the model they're designed for, and another set of top hats.

hahaha, thanks john, just didn't want to bother you to much with the pm's. from what the seller of the h&R springs said, I could use all the stock stuff. meaning that the stock top hats and perches would fit the h&r springs but not the STi's then. got it. thanks again john.
