:smt026 something really weird happened to my friend last night while he was dropping off his girlfriend. as he was making a turn while going to go back to his place, the rear left wheel locked up and put him sideways a few meters into oncoming traffic!! as the car was at a stop with shifter still in first. he lightly accelerated dragging the wheel abit. he accelerated again then it let loose and he could continue on his way without any problem whatsoever. lately he has been complaining of a clunking noise that comes only once while cruising and the whole car stumbles as if he's run over something. then drive smoothly without any problems. there is no visible diff leaks or torn boots in the back, its been like this for the past 10000kms but last night was something else. now he is scared of driving his daily, coz it might lock up and put him into a tree or under an oncoming truck!!
his rear bushings need replacement, with the tons of knocking even with new struts.. what could be the real problem??
car is a JDM BG3 with an ej18 5speed manual. HALP!!
