Has anyone heard/ seen anyone running an ej255 with ej25d heads? I dont know why it wouldn't work, but I would just like to confirm.

The heads will let you continue to run phase I electronics for turbo purposes, while having a much stronger bottom end.

My purpose is I already have built 25d heads and found a cheap 255 locally. But I bought ej20 swapped BD so when crappy 2.0 throws a rod bearing ill put the 255 block between the WRX
Heads.

Well, the block halves are the same. they have different pistons and different rods. the pistons are different in that they bump the compression up by 0.2 on the AVCS heads
