Just looking for any suggestions on how to fix this problem. On the stock cat of my 97 gt I have a leak between the first and second cats. It is leaking out the bottom of the connection, I have replaced the gaskets and I'm having no luck. I'm running Borla headers, could they be skewing the setup and causing this?
I'll try to get pics if possible, I just want it fixed so I don't smell exhaust whenever the fan is on, thanks!

Are the flanges rusty? I don't really understand why they needed to put a flange between the two cats...

If you want it really fixed, either replace the flange with a welded in section of piping, or get the cats replaced altogether.

If you want a temporary fix, find the leak, plug it up with some high temp exhaust glue stuff...

Yeah, my stock exhaust broke off In three different places.

Replace with new.
14 year old exhaust will leak.
