I'm learning a lot from my research paper on Forced Induction, and I'm really interested in Centrifugal Superchargers. Anyone ever install one onto a subaru engine? What was your outcome? I know that many people would tell me just swap in a EJ20T from an SS, but I want to be different.

Thanks,
Chad

I believe on rs25.com there are some centrifugal builds. None on here that I am aware of.

Impressions: boost from idle up, smooooooth power all the way up, slight loss of mpg, high-pitched whine when you get on it.

Centrifugal superchargers don't make any noise, the roots blowers make the whine that everyone loves.

only down side I see is the mpg, but 25-26 in a subaru is pretty darn good! How much does forced induction WRXs get like 20? And I would be ok with the whine.

I know people that get 30+ HWY in their 2.0 WRX's. It really depends on how you drive.
