since my subie doesnt burn rubber, i have to use my dads car to do that. haha
my subie was at the garage one day and it had snowed the day before leaving the roads in bad conditions. i was having such a subie withdrawal that i drove this car in the snow to get my car. and let me tell you one thing, its traction control straight cuts power to the wheels. i was going up a hill in front of my house and then all of a sudden, i was pressing the pedal with no response and started to go backwards. but i made it safely and the mustang was unscathed(thankfully). oh the things we do to drive our subies

its a beautiful ass end in my opinion(bumper needs painted though)

backing out of the garage the one day, my dad swiped our honda pilot.......ugggghhhh!!!

this car is my evil side. my only ticket came when i was driving this car when it started to snow one day. i was leaving school and i accelerated a little bit too quickly and fishtailed......well the schools rent-a-cop saw me and pulled me over(needed his weekily excitement). i got a ticket for reckless driving for $110.50 and well lets just say i got my money back soon thereafter........

and here is the exhaust video that my dad didnt want to rev it hard(which was barely at all)....

Have a sequential blinker kit installed? Those have got to be one of my favorite mods for this style stang.

Yes i do...totally forgot to mention that....and it was one of the easiest mods to do

Well it was running real rough so we took it to our local speed shop(southern stables, mustang-stable? haha) and they took off the tune and it had about 3 CEL codes. spark plug wires had rubbed through and cause a cylinder to not fire. got that all fixxed and its is running fine again. cant wait till the money rolls in so the hood and spoiler can be put on and have the bumbper painted as well.

Its been a while and nothing has really changed except for getting a set of ceramic brake pads and drilled and slotted rotors(pics tomorrow) off ebay for around 200 bucks. hopefully they are of decent quality. ill report back about it in a few months or so

Cleaned the filter and ordered a new one to swap out while cleaning the old one.
here is a list of all of the parts that are sitting in out garage waiting to get put on:
-Cervinis california dream hood
-side scoops
-CDC ducktail spoiler
-GT500 bumper(on car but needs painted)
-Front lip

I hope to get these parts all put on by next year. All of the quality paintshops by me cost a lot

Had to change the foglight bulbs the other day, hardest thing ever!! The lights are hard to reach and they make the grille so hard to remove that I just gave up on removing it. But my dad did like how I have yellow fog lights so he bought a kit to make his yellow too.....Well they will be yellow once I gather enough patience to try and remove the grille again....

Here are some pictures of the fog lights:

The contour of the lenses are going to be challenging to tint but I am sure I can do it

I installed LED bulbs in the license plate light:

Also, the one driver side tail light is acting stupid. It works when the headlights are off, but once they are one, it doesnt work anymore....It has me stumped

You have gooooot to get the ducktail spoiler on there. Made the rear of my old man's old 06 GT look a million times better.

Believe me, I want to put all the parts on. The only problem is they need painted and it is a little expensive and my dad is really picky about the paint.

Had to get the alternator replaced last week. It straight up died on my dads commute to work. Told him he should of got a Subaru instead(as he took my wagon to work for two days.....)

Last night I washed it because today was my dads birthday so I figured a nice and clean car was a good gift.

After the wash:

After a Turtle Wax express shine and tire shine:

The decal from our in town Mustang Speed shop(and he has a Subaru senior master technician there too):

Here is a video I made of the exhaust. It was weird(maybe from the tuner) but it wouldnt let you double rev. And by that I mean rev right after you revved it up.

So my dad is getting more into the mustang scene so the car is making a little more progress.

first, we are getting rid of the unpainted ducktail spoiler(we got a painted one for cheaper than the unpainted). Also the stock antenna is back on because the shorty 8" one sucked with the local stations.

but there is a new part that was put on today that i believe to be a limited run part by Classic Design Concepts. It is a new tail light setup to make the 05-09's look like the older gt500 tails.

Here is a quick picture:

Oh and we have a slightly different spoiler. Ours is the CDC one, not the Cervinis one your old man has on....Ours will delete the third brake light.

Here is what the new tail light look like at night

Yep and they are sequential as well

Those tails make a world of difference!! If I ever own a stand from this generation I'll keep my eyes open for a set!

I just noticed I never posted a picture of them installed in the day time. I just posted night pictures and the mock up picture....

So my there was a big "oops" moment in this car yesterday(not by me, my dad). He hit the curb yesterday while getting off the highway. The front driver side wheel is completely trashed and the rear driver side wheel has some slight curbing.

Front wheel:

Part of the lip is completely gone while a 4-5" sliver is hanging on slightly. The front tire still holds air surprisingly. It happened a few miles away from our house so I went out with the floor jack and torque wrench to save the day. Now the search for two more 18" 5 spokes or new wheels all the way around

This is why we can't have nice things!

We found a shop that had two of the same wheels that matched the ones that were broke and had the front hub replaced. All was great until the car developed a rotational squealing. We first thought it was the brakes sticking but we took them off and couldn't see anything.

Well the noise was getting worse so we took it to the speed shop and they discovered that the axel was bent inside the housing and caused the brakes to make intermittent contact. The other side axle needs the seals redone as well. Just goes to show that not all of the problems show up right after the incident happens.

Cleaned the car the other day and figured I would take a few pictures.

Messing around with Photoshop to give the rolling shot effect.
