Hi everyone. New to Subaru, but long time automotive enthusiast. I moved here to Okinawa about four months ago, I am in the military. Coming over here I was interested in a Skyline or 180sx etc. but wanted something completely different from what I was used to. So that is how I discovered my 2000 Legacy B4. And so far I absolutely love it. My mod list is small but in the 3 years I am here (hopefully another 3 at Yakota AFB near Toyko) I hope to build on that. Glad to be apart of the site.
So far what I have is:
-GoFastBits Respons TMS BOV
-Snorkus Removal
-K&N replacement filter
-Greddy boost gauge
-FET 360 Driving Data System/Turbo Timer
-Razo 340g weighted shift knob
-Generic 2.5" inlet, 4" burnt tip muffler (welded on)

Mainly headlights, taillights, grills, interior pieces and other odds and ends... Also, factory options and parts from SOJ are often different then the USDM counterparts.
If it looks unique to your eye over there... it is REALLY unique over here... Tommy Kaira, RFRB, ground zero, STi parts for anything pre 2004, ect
I would love to get my hands on a set of OEM JDM window rain visors for a 2004 wrx wagon!!

Yes jdm parts are a must over here. Lol. You will need to set up as a vendor through Reason though.

Oh my god I love that car. The B4 is hands down my favorite Subaru.
Can we trade?
For real though, this is exactly what I plan to do to my car, just in silver. As much USDM to JDM as I can. Yep, Im even considering switching to RHD for that twin turbo.
You have my all time favorite legacy. So beautiful in black, with that silver JDM B4 grille (which I just bought one of... cant wait for it)!

There's another guy here with a black BH sedan in Okinawa. What a coincidence.
Nice ride. :smt023

Don't want to sound like a negative Nancy but surely the cost and time involved to swap an old Legacy to RHD and drop in the twin turbo isn't worth it? :smt009

Yea the twin turbo has problems in the power dept. Its better to just put in a single turbo ej20.

I know. I've only been debating it because I have a guy who does really good work converting cars to RHD and he might be able to do it cheap for me, and TTs are cheap. And i'd love to have a RHD subie. But my other option has been to wait until this engine dies and buy a used STI engine. I've still got a ton of miles to make my mind up, but since i've never driven a TT, i'll take your word for it on the power output Blackout.

Welcome to the forum and nice work on the car. What is that box by the clutch pedal?

amgarrety-yea the VOD (valley of death) in between when the first turbo drops off and then both turbos pickup is depressing lol.
GTDrifter-when I bought the car they never told me it had a turbo timer, it was tucked up under the dash and fell out one day, I was in the middle of mounting it.

If you want to become a vendor, hook up with YamazakiSubaru and learn from him. He has a good system in place for reselling parts.
