Hey I have a 95 LSI Legacy Sedan and want to get coils on it but am kind of on a budget so I'm looking for anything from 900 to 400. What are some good brands that fip my budget that will fit my car.

You get what you pay for. For that cost your much better off getting some lowering springs and new struts. Otherwise just save a little more and get some good coilovers.

Well I'm not using them for racing just for a stiffer ride and for the look of being slammed.

And I found these, would they fit my car?

If you're looking for something cheap and low I would check out Raceland coils. Fitment for 02-03 WRX will bolt right up.
I know a few guys locally that have them and they've had no complaints.

Cool yeah ill check them out. I'm not wanting them for actual race so thats why I want to pay under a grand.

Nope they're on a WRX and a VW. Why does it matter though?

MarkSubi

It matters because I want them to fit lol

The 2 models are interchangeable. Therefore, the WRX will fit the Legacy and vice versa.

What do you mean raised them? like when you were installing them and had to go way up with it for it to meet the holes?

A coilover allows you to adjust the ride height, using the adjustable spring perches. He had to spin them up high to get enough ground clearance for his application it sounds like.

yeah i had to spin them all the way down to allow everything to line up and bolt in

Oh okay so you made it as high as it could go to bolt everything and then once everything was connected you then adjusted it to the height that you wanted.

Nice yeah buy everything I'm seeing from them being on your car i think I'm going to choose those. Id love to have BC coils but that would take me along time to save up for lol

Yeah there is a guy who uses racelands on his Volvo and he has had them for a couple years. Beats them to hell and back at the auto-x. They have held up just fine.

I am going to go with Racelands. Or if someone I know can get me a good deal on some Ksports I will go that route.

for anyone out there avoid these like the plague. when i actually found someone who used them they gave a horrible review on fitment, and quality and once they were on they only lasted a month before blowing.

That's right.... Who's your Daddy? :smt023

I was looking into the RL's as I also have them on my E36. I have had 3000+ problem free miles on them so far. My E36 kit, came in pieces without top hats, However, RL's website lists the WRX set up with camber plates. Looks like an easy set up to swap out this way. Looks like I might be heading towards RL for a set up in the future.........

Good idea, RL's warranty only cover's professional installation.

Ah didn't know that. I won’t be buying them for another like hour to five weeks from now so I haven't looked at all the info on the site but yeah I want to have it done right plus it’s going to have to be aliened so mites well have a place do both. My car actually needs an alignment its self always.

Things happen. Someone gets a bad set and bam its all over the place. The reviews I have read from everyone else AND SEEN them in action. I have yet to blink my eye at them and walk away.

How long ago was this review?

Well shit glad I can read.

The link was for godspeed coilovers, I was just putting it out there. Unless of course you know of a bunch of people running god speed coilovers and or reviews. I asked around all over including this site in multiple threads multiple and on multiple sites and only found one actual user review for subaru at least.
