Why's that?? I feel like I'm missing something haha

It's the model code. 'BE'= sedan, 'E'= 3.0L, 'D'= '04 (in the US), but then the next character for US vehicles is 'Y', not 'A'.
But as a whole, it was close enough that that's what I thought when I read it.
