99 LGT Automatic-----06 Wrx 5-speed?

Ok I have the 06 Wrx tranny in my posession now I need some help identifing the rest of the stuff needed.

Tranny-- check
Wrx axles front and rear- need new front halfs so might as well upgrade
rear dif-can you get an LSD rear if the tranny is not LSD?
flywheel- Lightened or stock?
Clutch
clutch cylinder
pedals
shifter and linkage
driveshaft

Anything else?

From my understanding, any wrx matching rear diff -should- work.

depends, do you like torque, and do you live in the mountains? Also, you'll have to relearn how to clutch the car as it changes the take-off characteristics of the clutch.

What is your power goals? If I were you I would go stage 1 organic Exedy clutch (or ACT, or Spec [BE SURE TO RESURFACE YOUR
FLYWHEEL OR Spec WILL CHATTER])

dunno, oem should be fine. Hopefully someone who actually knows can answer

pedals
wrx pedals are hot. The only thing you would HAVE to change would be the clutch pedal if the the clutch was hydraulic.
EDIT: just caught that you're going from auto to manual. You will need the entire assembly from the MY you're looking for, for a guaranteed bolt-up.

shifter and linkage
To my knowledge, all 5 speed linkages are the same. I would also recommend the eBay B&M rip-off short shifter. I have it in mine and it's awesome.

driveshaft
again, oem should be fine but scour NASIOC and you'll find the answer I'm sure.

Also, I would recommend flushing the tranny before you install.

To my knowledge, all 5 speed linkages are the same. I would also recommend the eBay B&M rip-off short shifter. I have it in mine and it's awesome.

To add to this - not all linkages are the same, but if you get a complete linkage setup, you'll be fine (has to include the joint just outside the transmission). That being said, stick to 97+ Subaru linkages for compatibility with aftermarket short throws and bushings. The older shifters have a different shift fork, joint, and shifter stay design.

Yes, but it needs to be the right Gear ratio... [Rear, (2.5L), turbo, MT, 5 spd (3.70 ratio) ] There are 4 different ones...

I'm told stock is best for a daily driver

Excedy stage one for daily use. I told they are also good for the track. I just got one installed in my Pulsar GTIR...

Any BD/BK/BG will fit the car, however you might need to fab some lines going to the trans... Would be easier to use those then trying to make one from a different body work...

Dont know thtat one, but I would try to get it from a WRX if possible..

You should only need the front half. I have a feeling that almost any MT trans one would work, but that I'm not sure of...

Make sure your trans mounts are going to work...

Don't forget the TSK transmission snout. So much smoother than the gouged-aluminum snout. They should have had this from the factory.
