Yo.

I'm curious as to what gains could be had by changing the cam profiles on the ej25d, w/ forced induction?
What am I asking Delta Cam, et al for? More overlap, lower duration? I'm literally clueless when it comes to cams, though I do understand them to be a real source of power potential.

Turns out, after much research, the ej25d cams are quite good for turboing

They are...but if you could get a hold of ej20k or the twin turbo heads of that generation (the smooth valve cover heads) I believe you'd be better off... something about valve overlap... over my head, lol. Friends of mine have ordered them from australia and new zealand from the subie forums over there.
