92 Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan

Had this car 2 years now, bought it for $400 bucks in rough shape, body is still kinda rough, but I dont care. Daily Drove it up until this summer. Car is an ex-taxi from the small community I'm from, it had 470,000kms (290k miles)on it when I tore the motor apart for a rebuild which I'm finishing up now. Still ran great and pulled hard but it has alot of crank walk and later found an oil squirter sitting in the pan.

Summer of 10 I traded a 97 Ram for this.

94 Legacy GT ej20h twin turbo auto. Was a fun car, but I needed the money so I sold it after a couple months. The reason I crave a GT-B.

Also had a 95 Brighton L, completely optionless car except for the rear defrost like every canadian car has. Ended up just flipping it for a bit of a profit.

Bought some 550cc injectors and a jdm ej20g ecu for the SS.

And for the 2 bolt flange on the turbo where the intercooler mounts, I found that a chrvy 350 etc thermostat housing is the right bolt pattern and come in a few different angles for cheap.

Great stuff! Gotta love pirating parts off of other cars for turbo setups. I once used an inlet elbow from an old turbo Dodge Caravan.

The ecu is tuned for 440's, and with the afpr set at 40psi instead of the stock 43psi the 550's will be slightly less then what they are rated at, so it is still not ideal, may negatively effect the cold idle and startup etc. but it should work till I can get a 550 Rob tune. Lots of first gen legacy guys run the 440's with the stock 22t ecu which is tuned for 370's and they do alright, I'm just scaling it up.
