Yeah..... guidelines are as followed:

When you do any of this stuff:

Plans-
(I go through with all that I say)
(within the month)
Window tint, 2 more Hellas on roof, rewind alternator to at least 100, optima yellow top.
Wagon spoiler
(future)
Wrx gold wheels or sti bbs
Kyb gr2s all around
Still unsure what route with other suspension components.

Post the pics here, as this is going to be interesting

Welcome to the site btw.... even tho you were lurking :smt023

Yeah I would like to lift it a little bit but if I do it will be done right. I would like a perfect combination of suspension for my driving, that's why I'm still thinking about it. I will cut no corners with this car. Thanks for the replies, no one ever mods leggys here just impress it will be nice to be hearing your feedback

I want a Load Warrior. I can't justify paying for a new one because I don't think I would use it much.

What are looking to achieve, suspension wise? Rock crawler?? or Terrain Warrior??

I've heard of Forester suspension components for a mild lift :smt002 .....

I meant here as in Portland area, Oregon. I've seen a couple, but the outback is honestly the most popular car in this area haha. Yeah I will probably go with forester springs, I'll have to see if there is some kybs. I'm just wanting something that car mud and get over mild obstacles as its my daily driver.

The load warrior is nice it really comes in handy if you want a full size spare or room for extra camping gear if you plan on sleeping in the rig, plus it looks bad ass haha

Thanks just trying to give people and idea what the beam pattern is like. Also if anyone is wondering it has been rumored roof top lights give you glare off the hood, I have none of this, it lights up your hood which is actually nice because you can see the corners (I hate it when you can't see the corners of your hood when driving) and they are 500s no 500ffs)

Oh alright thanks for the black ice ha.
Alright I was wondering if anyone knew each and every part of a wrx swap in this car that isn't bolt on. (like the crossmember and wiring harness) I will have the money for this soon but I need to do it as fast as possible and would like to be fully prepared. And anyone on this site have the wiring diagram or want a nice amount of money to do the harness?

Check ChucktheF*k's and d1giPhux??'s Sig's for the Factory Service Manual Donloads. They have all the wiring diagrams you'll need for YOUR car. However, the Impreza/WRX (or whichever motor you're using) will have to be obtained elsewhere (Nasioc, etc...)

gotta pay to play! I found a H6 at auction ;) and honestly, it probably wouldn't be that much more expensive than the wrx swap.
But i bet its twice the pain in the ass. I'd love to try it though ;)

The at2s are nice but pretty soft and wearing down quicker than expected. I paid retail for the rack $269 about a year ago.

A good tintjob makes a world of difference for the way a car looks. I love my tint and this reminds me that I need to redo it.

Cwebboutbacked1
11-27-2012, 05:51 PM
I'll be getting some bfg a/t. the grabbers are nice but wore quickly from the lift and how it altered the suspension geometry. alignments have been fixed. I do like the geolandar but the tread seems a lot less aggressive

1996Battlewagon

Have you used these tires before? If so and if you like them, then carry on.

If not, then at the risk of potentially offending you, don't get them. They are extremely overrated in my opinion. They're loud, overpriced, wear obnoxiously fast and the tread really isn't that special other than the way it looks.

The Geolanders work so damn well with these cars and make them unstoppable in the wet, slush and slick mud. The sideways are tough too and they're not so squishy that they wallow in the dry.

Cwebboutbacked1

Legit! Seriously man: your wagon is straight 1337. It's making me miss my huge roof rack/spare tire setup: very similar to yours.

Also, how do you like the DynaPros? Did you get those retail? That's cool that they come in our size. They look brand-new.
