Mine does this but I think the driver's side lock is broken.

Did you use to have a keyless entry? What year and model is this? I can locate the wiring diagrams for your door lock and instruct you from there. The keyless entry module splices into the drivers side door actuator so that it can unlock just that one before unlocking the others. I had this problem on my 97BG and what I had to do was remove the drivers side kick panel and locate the Red/Green and Pink/Green wires coming from the keyless entry module harness and trace them to the Red/Green wire for the actuator and remove the splice and then splice the Red/Green wire back together, basically undoing what they did to install the harness. Now when I press the lock button on my door, all the doors lock and unlock.

I have a 97 bd I think it used to as I found this harness under my dash.

That is the harness for the keyless entry module. You can pick up a new one from the dealership or find one in a pick-n-pull but if you dont want to spend the money on it you can just do the same thing I did. Be careful when prying up the kick panel as the plastic locking tabs may break off as half of them did to me but I still have one holding it down plus the insert. If you dont wish the spend the money on the module then I would recommend doing the trick I did. The wire colors are going to be the exact same. If you dont want to remove the kick panel then cut and splice the Red/Green and Pink/Green wires together and thats basically the same thing and then your door locks will be back to factory. I removed my module because it would act like the battery lost connection and it would reset. I have the manual for mine still IIRC and can mail it to you if you want. If you have questions about this you can call my cell phone which is listed below.

Is there an actuator for the lock in your driver's side door? Cars that didn't come with the keyless entry may not have one. Mine didn't (but I do have power locks).

My car's locks are the same way. I think my car came with Keyless because I have the box, but it isn't hooked up. I don't even have a keyfob for it. It's pretty annoying though to have to make sure to lock the DS door after hitting the switch.

It did get annoying always having to manually lock the DS door which is why Wednesday night in class I fixed it but I also finished removing the harness and gave it to the instructor to use as parts, lol. It didnt take long to do either. You could have it done in less than 5mins by connecting the 2 wires off the harness together.

The box would be located under the dash near the door lock timer. Its about 3"x4"x1" and will have 3 harness terminals on it. If you crawl under there you will see it for sure, it aint that easy to miss. If you dont see it connected to the harness you posted a pic of then its most likely not under there. I still have my key fob but the keyring loop is snapped off. Found some pics online of module and the remote.

Haha, I actually hooked up the box to the "Door Lock" harness and now my driver side locks and unlocks with the switch. Well sorta, my driver side lock switch seems to be going out so it's a bit finicky but it works!

Ok so I got tired of my "unlock" button not working since I plugged in the "Door Lock" harness to my keyless entry box so today I went out and plugged the main harness in as well. Well the doors luck and unlock as they should, but now my parking lights keep flashing and there's a relay or something clicking inside the box.

The parking lights flashing should be an option you can turn off - unless you mean they do it all the time. The clicking is probably normal.

The parking lights flashing means the module dont work. Thats why I removed mine. It makes the lights blink because it keeps acting like it lost power, its the default for when the battery is reconnected. You have to press the button or something and reset it.
