WRX exhaust on a BD

What is involved in modifying a WRX catback exhaust to work with my 95 lego? I research on here for answers and it looks like I need to extend the mid pipe, but how long should I extend it?

However long you need it to be extended? Depending on how the hangers for the muffler are mounted, it can vary a little bit. I'd say it was around 6-8" on mine. The flange also needs to be rotated and the hanger on the piping of the axleback needs to be remounted, IIRC.

Thanks Mark. I was hoping someone posted a DIY thread on here with dimensions and placement of flanges. I don't want to take it to a muffler shop and pay out the butt for labor costs.

In my menbers ride thread it tells you what I did with a Borla 3" cat back. Same length of cat back.

That cool. i still have yet to take my car to the shop to have them install my 05 WRX exhaust. My Legacy got a few parts from STiRally.
- JDM taillights, JDM side makers, Strut bar, SRI, GT mirrors, GT spoiler, my old snowflakes, and I am probably missing something else.

Stock cat back? I have one for free if anyone wants to pick it up. Good overall shape. It is a Bosal OEM replacement.
