Hello ALL! new here with a 93 Subaru Legacy L Wagon

Hello like the title says I just got a 1993 Legacy for $900 for winter. It has 220,000 miles on it and will need a new clutch soon(can here the pilot baring going). other then that nothing to major wrong with her. I am new with Subaru i normaly buy Honda's I currently have a 2006 Honda Civic Si. I could not pass up this price for a car in short notice. If anyone could give me some pointers or if their is something i should keep an eye out for please let me know. I'm sure i'll be on here for awile asking crazy questions but please barewith me

Put your Si into the Member Rides 2 section. We don't hate on tasteful rides so we're hoping you do decent by the Legacy.

For the Leggy, the first thing to do is hit the rusty areas. And don't bother with HIDs in those housings - it'll scatter and refract the light. What you want is to do a projector retrofit.

If the clutch needs replacing, you might want to consider installing a new 5mt snout kit if you're planning on keeping it awhile (at the same time you do the clutch). Some fresh tranny fluid, new diff fluid.

Then maybe some WRX wheels (my guess is that this is going to be a winter car)?

Yes its my winter car but WRX wheels will be in the near futur, i like to drive a car that looks clean

-Front cover with fogs would be good for better visibility if you don't want to retro fit.
-Lowering can be had using OEM WRX suspension. Tho I can't remember which years are interchangeable for your model. There is a suspension interchange sticky in the suspension forum.
-Most sway bars are interchangeable too. Be sure to pick which is right for your application.

As you can see this radio space w/ pocket is 2.5 din and there are no dash kits for this car. You can buy a 2.5 din pocket for 70$ via Dealer i said no thank you and fabbed up something easy
