Here we will cut up our oil filters to see what is good, decent or crap. This is for only the filters that are for the Legacy. Please state brand, part number and the year this is for.
What to look for.
End cap material (metal, plastic or paper)
Filter element construction (synthetic, paper or other)
How many pleats
Pleat size
canister thickness If possible( or at least comment ohow sturdy it is)
