Just as the title suggests, I have a JDM BE5 twin turbo that I have owned for a about 5 months now and have already got bored of the power and the VOD is depressing. Any other BE5 owners out there got some power adder tips for someone on a budget? I have so far a aftermarket muffler, K&N drop in filter, and a GFB BOV. I wanted to do a manual boost controller but from research Ive seen its almost impossible, and Cobb accessports are getting hard to find if anyone knows one for sale let me know.
Thanks

Grounding kit usually minimizes the VOD lag... a Mines ECU will advance some timing and up the boost a little too.
If you delete the 1st cats, your turbo will overboost and the engine will lunch itself - the weak part of these engines is the main rod bearings... Ditch the GFB BOV unless it's a recirculating one.
The ultimate on these cars is to delete the twin turbo setup and go with a single turbo unit - look for Reuben's posts on this subject.

If you want a BE without VoD, then get an S401! :smt005
Seriously though, I'll just echo what Huffer said. Especially about the BoV. As for an Access port - you're in Japan now and they go under the company name of Prova here. You should have no problem finding one as long as you look for a "Prova" access port. Exact same thing, different name.
[EDIT: okay, it looks like they don't have an access port set up for the BE/BH. They have a tuned ECU though... Check this (http://jprova.co.jp/products/accesories/u3eqp3000000qqum-att/u3eqp3000000qqvf.pdf) out]

Thanks for the replies guys, there was a guy a while back here that had a mine's ecu ill have to track that back down. My bov is a adjustable atmo/recerc so you can go 100% either way and anywhere in between.

I'm in Okinawa too. I got an air intake, turbo back exhaust, boost controller and it made a good bit of a difference. Getting your ECU remapped after doing that would be a good idea though.

The instructions are all over google. It's pretty simple, just make sure you T the actuators so you control the boost on both turbos.
