There are a lot of Borla UEL replicas online on ebay etc..., and I was wondering if anyone could give a specific *link* to some UELs they have installed that they could vouch for good quality (welds, fit, ease of install etc).

Thank you so much!

It's all pretty much the same crap. Thin steal ugly welds, but mine has held up and I bought the cheapest one on eBay. OBX is probably the more reputable manufacturer for them.

They all fit like hell, ping terribly, and need to be ceramic coated or wrapped not to throw a p0420 CEL. As far as specific links go, get the cheapest one you can find, as 3-5 years down the road you're probably going to be replacing them.

I've had 2 sets for4-5 years that are holding up fine, and have never been repaired, compared to the 2-3 year old genuine borlas that have been rebuilt/repaired half a dozen times...I'd NEVER spend the money on the "nice" ones haha

I had genuine Borla single port header. And by far the best construction header I used or seen in person for the N/A model. Thicker steel, smoother transition 100% nicer welds and fit better. If I end up buying a new UEL header, it will be a Borla. Everyone has their opinions and like to save money, I'll pay a little more for quality.

I think that, maybe, Borla has some hit and miss quality with our headers. My single port headers were the complete opposite of what shane got. Mine had extremely thin walls on the primary tubes and the area around the welds constantly cracked and had to be repaired.

^ yup, the set I have has had just about every weld crack.

They also had different versions of the headers, the earlier ones sucked. This could play a role, looks like I have to get Borla headers now and report what I find.

So that makes them better than Original Borlas which cracked right out of the box & are made of paper thin tubing...

I would agree with that. The Borla's came with an unlimited mile warranty (provided you didn't wrap or coat them). If the job of pulling your headers for repair each time doesn't bother you (which... honestly, it should) then they do have that aspect over the ebay brand. Either way, I've been rocking mine for almost a year now and they're in great condition (and about to be shipped off, at that).
